  • Botanical richness includes around 190 tree types, plus the massive “Pus” vine—the largest of its kind in South Asia.

  • Dry-season months: August–September and December–February, when rainfall is low and bird activity peaks.

  • Just 1 km south of Kegalle town center along Bandaranayake Mawatha. Access enters through a sanctuary monastery nearby.

  • Approximately 86 km from Colombo (~2 hours by bus or car), or 39 km from Kandy (~1 h 20 min) .
